Evita Sanches from MPOWR is this month's dynamic speaker for Power Hour Breakfast about Content Creation.

Evita Sanches obtained a master’s degree in Communication Science at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. She specialized in Marketing and Health Care Information. As the owner of the consultancy agency MPOWR (abbreviation for EMPOWER), she is dedicated to strengthening the market position of organizations. Evita provides organizations with cross-media marketing strategies, content creation, project management and event management. Furthermore, Evita is the founder of Passionistas, a foundation that provides a platform for passionate crafters, foodies and artists. Through the foundation, she organizes events and participates in projects to stimulate creative entrepreneurship. Last but not least, Evita is also a guest lecturer at the University of Curaçao.

General info about the POWER HOUR concept
This year Gratida - Curacao, located at CoWorld - coworking community curaçao at The Triangle Curacao will celebrate its 5th anniversary.
In order to celebrate this milestone and at the same time give back to our community, the concept Power Hour was brought to life. It is our intention to give back to and connect our community, to broaden people’s horizon, to inspire them to take action, to inform them on different topics and to share knowledge.
Part of the concept Power Hour will be the monthly event "Power Hour Breakfast" which will take place every first Monday of the month. A speaker will be invited who will speak for about 10 minutes about a topic. After this talk there will be interaction about this topic between the attendees.

It is someone’s birthday and you ask them what they would like to have as a present. 
You expect something like: “Yes, I would like to have [fill in product],” but more likely you’ll get: “Nothing,” or “I don’t know.”
You really want to give this person a nice birthday present, so you think about what they’ve said before and what they like doing, and try to connect the dots to come up with a brilliant present! Your reason for doing this is that you want to give the person something they desire. To give them the best experience.
This is quite similar to User Experience design practices. Using your empathy and knowledge of a person or crowd to do something extra and find out what they need or want. Using your inquisitiveness to find out everything you can about people. So you can create added value and even make a business out of it! The same principle applies to services, products and digital design! In this session, you will learn more about UX so you can follow in the footsteps of user-centered giants Google, Amazon, Apple and Starbucks!

Where does it come from?

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
